This isn't just a flannel. It's a second life for a really good piece of clothing.
We took this pretty blue/green flannel and transformed it into a completely one-of-a-kind wearable piece of art. Instead of bleaching or dyeing this one, we kept the original plaid flannel exactly as it was and split it in half! We originally added another flannel to the bottom, but ultimately did not like that, so we changed it up again! Leaving some of that original flannel, we took tiered fabric from a previous skirt and sewed it to the bottom. This created a super flowy bottom that you can wear as a cute top or shacket. The back features a bold kantha peace sign design surrounded by the perfect wash of denim.
We love taking clothing that already exists and turning it into something completely different. Repurposing keeps good garments out of the waste stream while creating something that can't be mass-produced or duplicated. There is no factory line making these. No two are ever exactly alike.
